Spring is here and for obvious reasons, i’m able to do a lot more gardening. Here’s a writhing, stripey rollercoaster of spines:

It looks doubtful that the big Puya will flower this year.

The smaller succulents look well, including this Echeveria:

There’s a lot going on in pots at the back of the greenhouse. I can hardly wait to plant some of these in the ground once it’s warmed up a bit. They’ll stay in permanent place once they’re in. In the left foreground of this image is Paraserianthes lophantha with its graceful compound leaves:
